Sujeitar um defeito menor a um segundo ciclo de calor muitas vezes degrada a estrutura mais do que o defeito original.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Limites pr\u00e1ticos de inspe\u00e7\u00e3o visual<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>A primeira linha de defesa \u00e9 uma inspe\u00e7\u00e3o visual minuciosa utilizando um <strong>Medidor V-WAC (Visual Weld Acceptance Criteria)<\/strong>. Uma vez que o undercut se mistura com a ponta da soldadura, \u00e9 notoriamente dif\u00edcil de ver num ch\u00e3o de f\u00e1brica movimentado.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>A practical, immediate rule is the &#8220;fingernail test&#8221;\u2014if a fingernail catches cleanly in the groove along the weld toe, the defect has a sharp enough <strong>acuidade do entalhe<\/strong> para justificar a medi\u00e7\u00e3o f\u00edsica. Nesta fase, a profundidade e o comprimento exactos do corte inferior devem ser registados nos desenhos de engenharia para determinar o passo seguinte.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Toler\u00e2ncias AWS e ISO<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>Os crit\u00e9rios de aceita\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o estritamente definidos por normas internacionais e n\u00e3o por opini\u00f5es pessoais ou prefer\u00eancias do operador. Em <strong>AWS D1.1 (Structural Welding Code &#8211; Steel)<\/strong>, uma profundidade de corte inferior at\u00e9 <strong>1mm (1\/32 polegadas)<\/strong> pode ser aceit\u00e1vel para estruturas n\u00e3o cr\u00edticas carregadas estaticamente.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>No entanto, para pe\u00e7as sujeitas a cargas c\u00edclicas, em que a fadiga \u00e9 o principal modo de falha, a toler\u00e2ncia diminui drasticamente. <strong>ISO 5817 N\u00edvel B<\/strong> (o n\u00edvel de qualidade mais elevado) determina que o corte inferior n\u00e3o deve exceder <strong>0,5 mm<\/strong>. Em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es aeroespaciais ou de carga din\u00e2mica altamente cr\u00edticas, a toler\u00e2ncia \u00e9 zero absoluto.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verifica\u00e7\u00e3o NDT<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>A inspe\u00e7\u00e3o visual \u00e9 in\u00fatil para o rebaixamento interno ou da raiz, particularmente em juntas de penetra\u00e7\u00e3o profunda, tubagens estruturais pesadas ou configura\u00e7\u00f5es de tubos. Para chapas met\u00e1licas estruturais de alta tens\u00e3o ou componentes de reten\u00e7\u00e3o de press\u00e3o, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shengenfab.com\/pt\/non-destructive-testing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ensaios N\u00e3o Destrutivos (END)<\/a><\/strong> \u00e9 obrigat\u00f3rio.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>T\u00e9cnicas como <strong>Ensaio por ultra-sons (UT)<\/strong> ou <strong>Ensaios radiogr\u00e1ficos (RT)<\/strong> s\u00e3o utilizados para ver por baixo da superf\u00edcie. O UT \u00e9 excecionalmente eficaz a fazer ricochetear ondas sonoras na geometria oculta de um corte inferior de raiz, fornecendo aos engenheiros dados exactos e quantific\u00e1veis sobre a perda de espessura interna efectiva.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mistura mec\u00e2nica vs. re-soldadura<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>Quando um corte inferior fica ligeiramente fora das toler\u00e2ncias aceit\u00e1veis (por exemplo, medindo 0,6 mm quando o limite \u00e9 0,5 mm), o instinto imediato \u00e9 muitas vezes adicionar um passe de soldadura r\u00e1pido. Isto \u00e9 frequentemente um erro.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Se o metal de base for suficientemente espesso, <strong>mistura mec\u00e2nica<\/strong> com uma rebarba de carboneto ou um disco flap \u00e9 altamente prefer\u00edvel. O desbaste do entalhe afiado numa transi\u00e7\u00e3o suave e radiada (normalmente um cone 3:1 ou 4:1) elimina completamente a concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de tens\u00e3o. A mistura mec\u00e2nica \u00e9 significativamente mais barata, mais r\u00e1pida e estruturalmente mais segura do que submeter a pe\u00e7a a outro jato de calor extremo.<\/p><p> <\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quando a re-soldadura cria novos problemas<\/h2><p> <\/p><p>Quando uma soldadura de repara\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 absolutamente exigida pelo c\u00f3digo, deve ser tratada como um procedimento altamente invasivo. O retorno de calor localizado a uma junta acabada altera permanentemente a metalurgia e a estabilidade dimensional de todo o conjunto.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Degrada\u00e7\u00e3o da ZTA<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>Cada soldadura cria uma Zona Afetada pelo Calor (ZAC) - uma \u00e1rea do metal de base que n\u00e3o foi fundida mas que teve a sua microestrutura permanentemente alterada pelo calor extremo.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>A soldadura de um corte inferior expande significativamente esta ZTA. Em materiais como o a\u00e7o inoxid\u00e1vel 304 ou os a\u00e7os de baixa liga de alta resist\u00eancia (HSLA), este choque t\u00e9rmico secund\u00e1rio provoca <strong>crescimento acentuado do gr\u00e3o e precipita\u00e7\u00e3o de carbonetos<\/strong>. O resultado f\u00edsico \u00e9 uma perda localizada de resist\u00eancia \u00e0 tra\u00e7\u00e3o, uma diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da resist\u00eancia ao impacto e uma queda dr\u00e1stica na resist\u00eancia \u00e0 corros\u00e3o, mesmo no bordo da junta.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ciclos de aquecimento repetidos<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>Os metais t\u00eam uma mem\u00f3ria t\u00e9rmica rigorosa. Sujeitar um local espec\u00edfico a uma <strong>ciclo t\u00e9rmico secund\u00e1rio<\/strong> (aquecimento, fus\u00e3o e arrefecimento r\u00e1pido) altera fundamentalmente as suas propriedades mec\u00e2nicas.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Nos a\u00e7os ao carbono, o arrefecimento r\u00e1pido de uma pequena soldadura de repara\u00e7\u00e3o localizada pode causar a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de <strong>martensite quebradi\u00e7a<\/strong>. Embora a ranhura possa agora estar fisicamente preenchida e visualmente aceit\u00e1vel, a repara\u00e7\u00e3o criou secretamente uma zona altamente fr\u00e1gil e sens\u00edvel a fendas, exatamente onde a tens\u00e3o da carga din\u00e2mica ser\u00e1 mais elevada.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Distor\u00e7\u00e3o e tens\u00e3o residual<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>Adicionar um passo de repara\u00e7\u00e3o significa adicionar mais metal de enchimento fundido, que inerentemente encolhe \u00e0 medida que arrefece. Isto introduz uma enorme e localizada <strong>for\u00e7as de contra\u00e7\u00e3o residuais<\/strong> no componente.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Particularmente no fabrico de chapas met\u00e1licas, este ciclo de calor secund\u00e1rio provoca deforma\u00e7\u00f5es e distor\u00e7\u00f5es angulares graves. Uma pe\u00e7a que inicialmente n\u00e3o tenha sido aprovada numa inspe\u00e7\u00e3o visual da soldadura pode passar no retrabalho de soldadura, mas falhar imediatamente <strong>controlos de toler\u00e2ncia dimensional<\/strong> na esta\u00e7\u00e3o de controlo de qualidade final, porque o chassis ou a caixa est\u00e1 permanentemente deformado.<\/p><p> <\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclus\u00e3o<\/h2><p> <\/p><p>O rebaixo de soldadura \u00e9 mais do que um defeito superficial. Altera a geometria da ponta da soldadura, reduz a espessura efectiva do material e aumenta a concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de tens\u00f5es em estruturas carregadas. Em ambientes de produ\u00e7\u00e3o, mesmo um pequeno rebaixo pode levar a fissuras por fadiga, falhas de inspe\u00e7\u00e3o, custos de retrabalho ou redu\u00e7\u00e3o da vida \u00fatil.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Uma qualidade de soldadura est\u00e1vel n\u00e3o resulta de ajustes de tentativa e erro no ch\u00e3o de f\u00e1brica.
