Mas o que \u00e9 exatamente e como funciona?<\/p><p>Esta tecnologia pode ajudar a reduzir custos, melhorar o desempenho das pe\u00e7as e reduzir as etapas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Utiliza um laser para fundir p\u00f3 met\u00e1lico em camadas s\u00f3lidas. O laser segue um ficheiro de desenho digital. Cada camada \u00e9 fundida sobre a anterior at\u00e9 que a pe\u00e7a final esteja completa.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Este processo n\u00e3o necessita de moldes ou ferramentas de corte. Permite construir formas que s\u00e3o dif\u00edceis ou imposs\u00edveis de criar com m\u00e9todos tradicionais. As pe\u00e7as finais s\u00e3o resistentes e est\u00e3o prontas para serem utilizadas de forma funcional.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>A DMLS teve in\u00edcio na d\u00e9cada de 1990. A EOS GmbH desenvolveu-o pela primeira vez na Alemanha. Na altura, a ideia de imprimir pe\u00e7as totalmente met\u00e1licas era nova. Ao longo dos anos, a tecnologia foi-se aperfei\u00e7oando.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Melhores lasers, controlos mais rigorosos e p\u00f3s mais finos fizeram avan\u00e7ar o processo. Atualmente, o DMLS \u00e9 amplamente utilizado em ind\u00fastrias que necessitam de pe\u00e7as fortes, leves e complexas, especialmente nos sectores aeroespacial, m\u00e9dico e de ferramentas industriais.<\/p><p> <\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Princ\u00edpios fundamentais do DMLS<\/h2><p> <\/p><p>O DMLS utiliza um controlo preciso do calor e do movimento para transformar p\u00f3 met\u00e1lico em pe\u00e7as totalmente densas. Eis como os seus principais passos funcionam em conjunto para construir formas complexas.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">O processo de fus\u00e3o em leito de p\u00f3<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>O DMLS baseia-se num m\u00e9todo de fus\u00e3o em leito de p\u00f3. Uma fina camada de p\u00f3 met\u00e1lico \u00e9 espalhada numa plataforma de constru\u00e7\u00e3o. Em seguida, um laser funde o p\u00f3 em \u00e1reas selecionadas com base num ficheiro CAD digital.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Depois de uma camada estar completa, a plataforma baixa ligeiramente. \u00c9 espalhada uma nova camada de p\u00f3. O laser derrete esta camada seguinte, fundindo-a com a que est\u00e1 por baixo. Este ciclo repete-se at\u00e9 a pe\u00e7a estar pronta.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Papel dos lasers de alta pot\u00eancia<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>O laser \u00e9 a ferramenta principal do DMLS. Fornece energia concentrada para aquecer e fundir o p\u00f3 met\u00e1lico. O laser deve ser suficientemente forte para fundir totalmente as part\u00edculas, mas controlado para que o calor n\u00e3o se espalhe demasiado.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>O feixe desloca-se rapidamente e com precis\u00e3o atrav\u00e9s de cada camada. Funciona bem para ferramentas, pe\u00e7as industriais e componentes expostos \u00e0 humidade ou a produtos qu\u00edmicos.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ligas ex\u00f3ticas e especiais<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>O Inconel \u00e9 uma liga \u00e0 base de n\u00edquel conhecida pela sua resist\u00eancia a altas temperaturas. \u00c9 comum nas ind\u00fastrias aeroespacial e de energia.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>As ligas de cobalto-cr\u00f3mio s\u00e3o utilizadas em implantes dent\u00e1rios e ortop\u00e9dicos. S\u00e3o biocompat\u00edveis e resistentes ao desgaste.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>O cobre e as ligas de cobre tamb\u00e9m podem ser impressos, embora sejam menos comuns.
