Even though they are &#8220;just for looks,&#8221; they still consume real machine time, require specific tooling, and increase the final invoice.<\/p><p> <\/p><p><strong>R\u00e8gle de conception :<\/strong> If a fillet is strictly cosmetic, loosen its tolerance on the engineering drawing (e.g., \u00b10.010&#8243; instead of \u00b10.002&#8243;). They are forced to use a delicate end mill with a tiny diameter of 0.060&#8243; or smaller just to fit inside that corner to clear out the material physically.<\/p><p> <\/p><p><strong>R\u00e8gle de conception :<\/strong> Always design internal corner radii at least 0.020&#8243; (0.5mm) larger than the radius of the standard tool you expect the shop to use. Standard tools cannot achieve this without snapping, forcing the shop to buy expensive, specialized long-reach tooling or utilize highly complex machining setups.<\/p><p> <\/p><p><strong>R\u00e8gle de conception :<\/strong> Keep the internal fillet radius (R) strictly greater than 1\/5th of the pocket depth (R &gt; Depth \/ 5). Using standard fractional or metric tool sizes (e.g., 1\/8&#8243;, 1\/4&#8243;, 1\/2&#8243; or 3mm, 6mm, 10mm). If you design an arbitrary internal radius of 0.137&#8243;, the machinist cannot simply plunge a standard 1\/4&#8243; tool (which creates an R0.125&#8243; corner) into that pocket.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Au lieu de cela, ils doivent prendre un outil plus petit et le programmer minutieusement pour qu'il balaie la courbe dans un mouvement circulaire. Savoir quand remplacer un cong\u00e9 par un chanfrein, une coupe en relief ou un processus d'usinage alternatif est une caract\u00e9ristique de l'ing\u00e9nierie de haut niveau. Le remplacement d'un cong\u00e9 ext\u00e9rieur cosm\u00e9tique par un chanfrein \u00e0 45 degr\u00e9s peut r\u00e9duire la dur\u00e9e du cycle de finition des bords jusqu'\u00e0 80% tout en n\u00e9cessitant un outillage moins co\u00fbteux et plus durable.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quand un cong\u00e9 vaut-il la peine d'un usinage suppl\u00e9mentaire ?<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>Vous devez prot\u00e9ger farouchement vos cong\u00e9s - et accepter le co\u00fbt d'usinage plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 - lorsqu'il s'agit de contraintes m\u00e9caniques \u00e9lev\u00e9es ou de dynamique des fluides. Un chanfrein ne r\u00e9partit pas les contraintes structurelles de mani\u00e8re aussi efficace qu'un rayon lisse.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Si une pi\u00e8ce est soumise \u00e0 des moments de flexion importants, \u00e0 des cycles thermiques ou \u00e0 un \u00e9coulement de fluide \u00e0 haute pression, un chanfrein agira toujours comme une augmentation mineure des contraintes. Dans ces environnements, l'int\u00e9grit\u00e9 structurelle fournie par un cong\u00e9 de raccordement vaut absolument le temps d'usinage suppl\u00e9mentaire.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quand le soulagement r\u00e9sout-il le probl\u00e8me plus simplement\uff1f ?<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>Si vous essayez d'ins\u00e9rer un bloc parfaitement carr\u00e9 dans une poche usin\u00e9e, vous \u00eates confront\u00e9 \u00e0 un paradoxe g\u00e9om\u00e9trique : la poche aura toujours un coin interne arrondi laiss\u00e9 par la fraise en bout, emp\u00eachant le bloc carr\u00e9 de s'asseoir \u00e0 fleur.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Au lieu de sp\u00e9cifier un micro-filtre incroyablement petit et tr\u00e8s co\u00fbteux pour minimiser cette interf\u00e9rence, vous devriez modifier enti\u00e8rement la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie en ajoutant un relief d'angle.<\/p><p> <\/p><p><strong>R\u00e8gle de conception :<\/strong> If a mating part has a sharp 90-degree external corner, use a circular corner relief (like a dog-bone) on the internal pocket. Over-cut the corner so the shop can use a rigid, standard 1\/4&#8243; or 1\/2&#8243; tool to quickly clear the material without causing interference.<\/p><p> <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quand l'\u00e9lectro\u00e9rosion est-elle une option pratique\uff1f ?<\/h3><p> <\/p><p>Parfois, un angle interne de 90 degr\u00e9s parfaitement net est obligatoire sur le plan fonctionnel, comme dans les moules d'injection personnalis\u00e9s, les matrices d'extrusion ou les supports sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s pour l'a\u00e9rospatiale. Le fraisage CNC standard ne permet pas d'obtenir ce r\u00e9sultat.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>Au lieu de lutter contre la physique d'un outil de coupe rotatif, optez pour l'usinage par \u00e9lectro\u00e9rosion (EDM). L'\u00e9lectro\u00e9rosion \u00e0 fil, ou \u00e9lectro\u00e9rosion par enfon\u00e7age, utilise un fil ou une \u00e9lectrode charg\u00e9(e) \u00e9lectriquement pour vaporiser le m\u00e9tal, ce qui permet de cr\u00e9er facilement des angles internes parfaits \u00e0 90 degr\u00e9s ou des profils incroyablement complexes.<\/p><p> <\/p><p><strong>R\u00e8gle de conception :<\/strong> Consid\u00e9rez l'\u00e9lectro\u00e9rosion comme un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 et haut de gamme.
